This course introduces and examines contemporary, web-based communication design. Students will analyze existing sites as well as explore and experiment with formal, conceptual and technological developments specific to the restrictions and capabilities of the web. Specific attention will be paid to the role of the designer in the creation of a website, user experience, screen-based typography and innovative design.
