This studio course will take a broadlook at the ways in which computers are affecting contemporary art making.Through an investigation of history, current discourses, and extensive applications of digital media, students will become familiar with basic operating systems, software, and peripheral devices, as well as underlying architectures that comprise the digital terrain. Students are expected to use some facet of computer technology in the completion of a final project.
