Laura Splan's research-based studio practice includes collaborations with scientists, technicians, and engineers in both industry and academia.
Through conversation, experimentation, and co-creation, her collaborative process nurtures novel approaches and new perspectives across disciplines. Her collaborations have been supported by the Simons Foundation, Dolfinger-McMahon Foundation, Integral Molecular, NEW INC, and EY. She has collaborated with virologists, biochemists, theoretical biophysicists, creative technologists, and laboratory equipment technicians on projects that are situated in a liminal space between Art, Science, and Technology.
